Pain

Today's workout was so difficult that I am considering checking into a mental health clinic to see what new techniques psychiatrists have for treating victims of prolonged emotional trauma. Resistance from shallow sludge and intermittent logs will make paddling through deep warm water feel entirely effortless, or so I am told.

I tried it again in the afternoon and it wasn't any easier. Didn't even make it through the 2nd 4 minute piece.
Onward to greater things tomorrow.

My new chiropractor says I've sustained a herniated disc from that one. Not sure whether it was the neck breaking pace, the head-turning eye candy on the banks or the end of Jerzy's whip. See you in a few weeks!
